Josh Johnson is arguably one of the most brilliant comedic minds to ever grace this planet. He balances his busy life of being a loving and devoted “cat dad” to his son Neil with his ever-blossoming comedy career. Josh has been thriving in the comedy world for almost a decade and is a proud member of Gitmo. His style is one of a kind and the audience genuinely never knows what is going to come out of his mouth. His life stories and punch lines make the crowd hurt with laughter and this is not an easy task. He would never brag, but he has been featured on FOX, Comedy Central, The Oddball Comedy Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest and has multiple live albums. He has put in time and work into the local scene and beyond and it shows. “I honestly am seeing the changes I've wanted to see (in the scene) now that I'm not so involved” Johnson says, “Pretty sure just me being around the scene would fuck up whatever they got going. The comics in town now are great so the best thing I can do for them is stay out of their way and let them shine.” His humility is one of the reasons he is so received and loved by fans. When asked where he sees himself in 5 years, he stays true to himself and replies, “Probably in a booth at Applebee's at 11pm. So, what I do now but, I'll be 35.”. The world will hold its breath until he is ready to take the stage again, and it will be worth it.
